Understanding the different climbing grades.

If this sounds fancy—it's not! This just means the higher the number, the more difficult the climb. Roped climbing (aka 5th class  climbing) starts with the easiest grade, 5.0 and goes all the way to 5.15. Bouldering starts at a V0 and gets progressively harder topping out at V17. If you have any questions, feel free to ask a staff member!

Grades provide valuable insight into the difficulty and complexity of each climbing problem. Whether you're new to climbing or a seasoned pro, these ratings can guide you in selecting routes that align with your abilities and goals.
